With the generous support of our awesome educational and business partners, Rewrite aims to expand this programme to even more young people, teachers and schools across Ireland, UK, Europe, Asia and beyond! ππ²π€π€π±πͺ
Why? Because when it comes to tackling climate change, weβre all in this together!
TASS- The Alliance for Sustainable Schools
Based in Hong Kong, TASS is a non-profit network of schools working together to help accelerate the transition to a sustainable future π«π. The Alliance connects sustainability practitioners in schools around the world.
Through student engagement and partnership with innovative organisations in their local communities, they facilitate transformative shifts across five key areasβ school food, school buses, school uniforms, school buildings and education for sustainability.
With collaboration, we can work together to inspire the changemakers of the future! ππ©βππ¨βπ. Check out what they are up to and why we teamed up with them on their website.
Calor Ireland
They are on a mission to net zero πΏπwhich is hugely challenging but they are tackling it head on!
Read here about how we have partnered up with Calor to bring our climate change courses to schools in their local communities at no cost to those involved⨠. Find out more details about this important initiative in our Calor case study.
NISA
The North Irish Sea Array (NISA) is an offshore wind energy project being proposed off the coast of counties Dublin, Meath and Louth, with the potential to power over half a million homes with clean, renewable energy, while displacing almost half a million tonnes of CO2 and provide green energy to homes, businesses, industry, heating and transport.π¨ππ³
Thanks to NISA hundreds of teens in local schools have been sponsored to roll out Rewriteβs inspiring climate change courses, empowering them with the tools to lead positive change at home, in school, and in their communities in the face of pressing climate challenges. ππFind out more about the project at www.northirishseaarray.ie .
Oweninny Wind Farm Visitor Centre
Through sponsorship of 6 local schools in Co. Mayo, hundreds of young people have access to Rewrite, our engaging climate change course. Offering students a unique opportunity to explore the foundations of climate change and the potential solutions available including renewable energy, this partnership not only enriches their learning experience but also fosters a stronger connection between schools and the local community's environmental and sustainability efforts, while also gaining insights into how wind energy is contributing to a greener future.ππ¨β‘οΈ
